I bought this lock in 'very good' condition (not brand new) from an Amazon marketplace seller for $70 a couple of weeks ago and just received it the other day. The packaging had been opened, but the lock components still had protective plastic on it and the screws were still sealed in the bags. I guess I got a brand new or refurbished lock that had never been used before for a great price! Pretty happy about that.The install took me about 1-2 hours because there were a couple of things I had to figure out to do. Before installing the lock, I made sure I tested it out to ensure it worked properly and was updated to the latest firmware. After I confirmed both, I used the smartkey to re-key the lock to my existing house keys. All of that was pretty simple to do.After doing that. I moved forward with the installation. The existing deadbolt installed on my front door is a Weiser lock, so I took note of how that was installed and I'm glad I did. The Aura installation was very similar to how my existing Weiser lock was installed, so I just copied that for the most part.I tried to figure out where the cable and connector needed to be stuffed, and it seemed like the door itself was the best place, since there's not enough space in the lock. After I figured that out, the rest of the installation was pretty easy.The only big issue I ran into was that the deadbolt didn't close properly because it doesn't line up with the strike plate properly. Since it's Winter time right now the door alignment is off by a bit. When the weather is warmer, the deadbolt closes without any issues. Since the deadbolt grinds while locking, the BT and keypad lock function didn't work properly. The deadbolt locks halfway and I receive a "jam error" in the Weiser app on my phone. There are no issues when I try to unlock though. In any case, I'll have to file down the strike plate so that the lock stops grinding when I go to use the deadbolt.The BT range is amazing. I can actually reach to the opposite corner of my home on the second floor without any issues. There's a bit of delay with my phone connecting to the lock from that range, but it's to be expected since I'm not standing next to the lock. I'm using a OnePlus 8T phone with the lock. BT performance WILL vary by device. Some reviewers have claimed that the BT range sucks, and my experience was the complete opposite. If you're using a more current device from within the past 3-4 years, you shouldn't experience any BT issues.For the price, this is a very good lock. The regular price of $200 is very high and I would've have passed on it if I had to pay that much. The $100-150 price range is very reasonable for the lock, and it often goes on sale for around that price. if you can find it for under $100, then buy it immediately!
