I was so tired of the constant door slamming/clicking that disrupted my sleep at night/morning whenever anyone was up or going to the bathroom. Even though these were advertised for babies, my goodness they are a godsend for us light sleeping adults!The only negative is yea you can’t lock your door. Something I’m moderately ok with for some extra quiet time around the house! I put it on every door!!!These were so easy to put on the doors. They blend in so well. The door sound is completely gone. Highly recommend.These things are simple but they do the job very well. The only issue I encountered was that they're a tad bit too long for our interior doors, but it's an easy fix: you can just twist the elastic back over the door knobs one additional time to make it taut (the way you'd loop a hair elastic back around on a pony tail to tighten it). But I only had to do this on one side of the door in most rooms.I can finally sneak in and out of my daughter's room without the loud click of the latch. It was like she had trained herself to wake when she heard it! I even used the extra on the door of our master bath so when one of us is up in the AM to shower etc, the door doesn't wake the other. I like how the doors still close securely enough that a breeze or my cat can't open them even though the latch is covered.These work great and you can quietly close the door behind you when escaping out of the babies bedroom! The downfall is when they start to catch on and walk up to the door and push it open themselves hahahUPDATE**: ok its been a 2-3 week since I started using these and they are starting to wear. I guess that is bound to happen but i thought it would take longer. Still glad I purchased but not as amazed as i once was... Attaching pic of damageOriginal: Ok.. Im reviewing this kind of early because I just love it so much and i dont have any doubt it will hold up. Bought these because my 4mo sleeps in her crib in our room and we run an a/c unit whicg creates a vaccum in the room. Plus our home is 40 ys old and creaks and squeeks a lot. It would cost me an extra 30 min in the morning before leaving for work to get her back down if when I tried to leave the first time the door would be stuck or the latch would decide to click extra loud. I actually had these on my registry before she was born but was too cheap to buy them...wow how much time I wasted tip-towing around while opening and closing doors. I picked this particular set because the elastic looked to be the highest quality. These are even better than I thought. The elastic and fabric are very thick, but not poofy like a pillow so they actually wedge perfectly in the door. Sure, they arent a cute pattern but you really dont see much of that when they are in use. One side doesnt get tugged on more than the other, they sit evenly on either side when door is shut. I did measure before hand to make sure the fabric would cover the latch section at least. Even my husband is very happy with the purchase and thats not a common thing! LolOne of those simple things that truly makes a huge difference in our home with a napping baby. Our house is old, the door knobs squeak and these keep opening and closing nice and quiet which can be very difficult with a noisy little boy running around. One less thing to remind him to be quiet about while sister is asleep!I was a little hesitate because I didn’t need three just for one nursery door but now am so happy I got them. It fits on the door very snug and allows you to close the door without a thought of accidentally waking baby. This is going to be one of my go to baby gifts from now on!They aren’t thick enough for our doors so they still slam if there is some wind.
